"Groundmouths" (originally titled They See Me Trollblin) was a scrapped 5-minute short of Mighty Magiswords. It was the first 5-minute short to be in production after the 3-minute shorts wrapped up, and was the basis for the episode of the same name and the 5-minute short "Do You Know the Muffin King?".
The short was originally suppose to be the opener for a season-arch now-lost story involving the mysterious beings that appeared in the short entitled the "Groundmouths", but that idea fell through for unknown reasons. Kyle A. Carrozza uploaded the full animatic for the short on September 29, 2019.[1]

Trivia[]
- All of the scratch dialogue was done by Kyle A. Carrozza, except for Vambre, who was voiced by Lindsay Carrozza, although Kyle briefly voiced her for the beginning portion until it cut to Warriors for Hire HQ.
- If this episode had been completed, this would've been Zonq and Nyando's first appearance in the Magiswords media.
- Trollblins in this episode are depicted to have deep voices that speak in third person and only speak when spoken too unlike the Trollblins in the series whom have California surfer-dude voices.
- Rebecca Himot did selective storyboard panels for the animatic.
